Broad spectrum is a cannabis extract with THC removed to undetectable levels while the other cannabinoids and terpenes stay. The choice for anyone who wants no THC at all — a workplace drug test, for instance. Every batch comes with a lab report.

Broad spectrum goes through an extra step that strips THC down to an undetectable amount. Everything else from the plant — cannabidiol, CBG, CBN, terpenes — stays. The composition therefore looks like full spectrum, except the THC line in the report reads “not detected”.
There is one practical, checkable reason: a drug test. Tests look for THC, not cannabidiol. If your workplace runs one, the THC trace in full spectrum is a risk that broad spectrum removes. Beyond that, the choice is about composition, not strength.
Only from the batch lab report, never from the box. Find the THC (or Δ9-THC) line and the value beside it: in broad spectrum it sits below the detection limit. The batch number and date on the report must match the bottle.
The lab report lists THC as not detected. That means below what the method can measure, not a mathematical zero — which is how any honest report puts it.
Neither has detectable THC. The difference is the rest: broad spectrum keeps the other cannabinoids and the terpenes, isolate is cannabidiol on its own. At the same percentage the cannabidiol content is equal.
Tests look for THC. In broad spectrum it is below the detection limit according to the batch report, but no seller is responsible for somebody else's test or its sensitivity.
From the label and the batch report. If THC reads as not detected while other cannabinoids are present, that is broad spectrum.
