What “full spectrum” on the label actually means

What stays in the extract

In a full spectrum extract nothing is removed except waxes and chlorophyll. What remains is cannabidiol, minor cannabinoids (CBG, CBN, CBC), terpenes and a trace of THC — under Bulgarian and EU rules below 0.2%. The exact figures for a batch are in its lab report, not on the label.

How it differs from broad spectrum and isolate

Broad spectrum is the same extract with THC removed to undetectable; isolate is cannabidiol alone at around 99% purity. The difference is not strength: a 10% oil delivers the same amount of cannabidiol in all three. The difference is what else is in the bottle, and whether a trace of THC is there.

How to compare two bottles honestly

The only number that compares two oils is milligrams of cannabidiol and the price per milligram. Divide total milligrams by volume, then price by milligrams. The percentage on the label is the same figure in another form: 10% in 10 ml is 1000 mg. Spectrum is compared separately, from the lab report.

Frequently asked questions

Full spectrum or broad spectrum?

If you are drug tested at work, the THC trace in full spectrum is a reason to choose broad spectrum or isolate. Otherwise the choice is about composition: full spectrum keeps more of the plant, broad spectrum keeps the same minus detectable THC.

Will full spectrum show on a drug test?

Tests look for THC, and full spectrum contains a trace below 0.2%. No seller can guarantee the result of somebody else's test — where that matters, broad spectrum or isolate is the choice.

Is full spectrum CBD the same as hemp seed oil?

No. Hemp seed oil is a food oil with no cannabidiol in it. Full spectrum is an extract from flowers and leaves and does contain cannabidiol — the figure is on the label and in the report.

Is full spectrum legal in Bulgaria?

Products with THC below 0.2% are sold freely. Every batch in the shop carries a lab report where that figure is measured.
